It's a tragic story of a death long ago, and now it's been put on hold.

The trial for a 74-year-old woman accused in the 1957 death of her baby daughter has been postponed.

Ruby Klokow, of Sheboygan, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of her daughter, after her son went to police in 2008 with allegations of childhood abuse.

The trial was set for this month.

Her attorney says they are dealing with witnesses who have died or can't remember events from more than 50 years ago.
