A Wisconsin Rapids man arrested in Dec. after he allegedly kidnapped a woman following an argument, has reached a plea deal with prosecutors and will have the charged amended.
On Dec. 15, police issued a missing persons alert after a 22-year-old woman was seen being pushed into a stolen car at Thousand Oaks mobile home park on the city’s westside. The woman was found a few hours later unharmed in Marshfield.
On Feb. 8 in Wood County Court, Lee Winchester, 30, was convicted to two counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
He was sentenced to two years on probation and must pay $1,400 in fines.
