MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Packers fans headed to Sunday's game in Green Bay are being reminded that closure of the Leo Frigo Bridge on Interstate 43 is expected to cause traffic delays.
The state Department of Transportation says that closure as well as ongoing construction on U.S. 41 and state Highway 29 will cause traffic delays on game day.
Motorists are reminded to be prepared for orange barrels, narrow lanes, soft shoulders and increased volume.
The DOT is telling travelers to allow extra time to reach their destinations.
About 30,000 vehicles travel across the Leo Frigo bridge on a Packer home game, but that is all being diverted. The heaviest congestion is expected on Sunday between 8 a.m. and noon and between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
