The public is invited to a town hall style meeting Monday, October 15 in Marshfield. State Representative Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford), State Senator Terry Moulton (R-Chippewa Falls) and Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary, John Scocos, will focus on issues related to veterans.
“With the number of combat veterans in our area rising due to the ongoing missions in the Middle East and elsewhere, veterans’ issues have become a top priority on the state and federal level,” said Suder. “Bringing an expert in veterans’ issues like Secretary Scocos to our area allows our veterans to get direct answers to their questions and concerns from the man who runs the department.”
The meeting will be held at the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, located at 700 South Central Avenue in Marshfield. Veterans and the public are invited to ask questions and have their concerns heard from 2 pm to 3:15 pm.
