Hundreds of bikers where all over Stevens Point for the Tour De Boys and Girls Club Bike-A-Thon. The 4th annual fundraising events were held at Travel Guard.
Proceeds raised help the Boys and Girls Club of Portage County to continue running its seven different facilities throughout the area. Organizers enjoy getting the whole family involved.
Carie Winn, director of development and marketing said, “This is a great event and opportunity for avid cyclist to come out and ride as well as people that like to just casually bike ride.”
There was a four mile family bike ride along with a 60 mile ride that started in the early morning for more avid enthusiasts. The Boys and Girls Club in Portage County is celebrating there 10th year as an organization.
