10th Annual Garden Tour
Saturday, July 19
Self-guided tour is sure to stimulate your senses.
The tour will run from 12 to 5 pm rain or shine.
Over 40 Door Prizes. Five Gardens.
Adult tickets: $5 Available at Lakeside Market, 536 Fifth Ave, Blue Awning, 820 Fifth Ave, Natural Living Store, 727 Superior Street.

Marathon County

Paper Cities Kennel Club Dog Show
Saturday, July 19 – Sunday, July, 20
Obedience/Rally Trials on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, from 8:30am to 4pm at the
Patriot Center, 10101 Market Street, Rothschild, Wisconsin.
The public is invited to attend.
Admission is $3.00, with children under 12 free if accompanied by an adult. No strollers are
allowed.

Ole Iron Days
July 19-20
Spencer Village Park
Saturday events: Garden walk 10:00-3:00 p.m. – ATV and mini-rod pull at 5:30-pm
Sunday events: Lions pancake breakfast 7-10 am, vintage show snowmobiles, cars,trucks,tractors motorcycles. Registration starts at 9 am awards at 2:30 pm

Family Fun Olympics
Saturday, 9am - Noon
John Muir Middle School, Wausau
A fun and competitive Olympic-style event for children ages 5-17 and a parent or mentor. Event activities will consist of physical, mental and cooperative challenges. Children will be placed in age groups and all activities will be scored based upon age. Medals and prizes will be awarded for each group. The goals of the event are to encourage healthy, family-fun activities and to support physical activity among youth and families.
This is a fundraising event for Peaceful Solutions Counseling. The fee is $ 10.00 for pre-registration and $15.00 on the day of the event. All proceeds go toward therapy services for children in the community.

33rd Annual Lake DuBay Lions Summerfest
Friday, July 18 – Saturday, July 19
Lake DuBay Lions park, Knowlton (1 mile south of Hwy 34, on Cty Rd DB)
6:30-10 pm Fri. & Sat.,
On Friday night the Cow Tippers band plays from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm and on Saturday night the band Spicy Tie plays from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
On Saturday, breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, at 8:00 am our rummage sale starts, a children's petting zoo from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at 4:00 pm a Polka Mass with the Polka City Sounds playing from 3 – 6 pm, and a chicken dinner at 5:00 pm.
The money raffle drawing will be at 10:00 pm on Saturday.
Free admission and open to the public.
Friday: 5:00 pm to midnight, Saturday: 8:00 am to midnight

46th Annual Gem and Mineral Show
July 19-20
Friday 10am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm
Lakeland Union High School, Minocqua,
The popular “Kids Store”, Gems, Beads, Minerals, Fossils, Jewelry, Speakers, Silent Auctions, Door Prizes, and Demonstrations.
Several geologists will be onsite to help identify
minerals and stones.

Wood County

Fundraiser Event for Nekoosa Skatepark Brat and Bake Sale

Thompson Park on Market Street
City of Nekoosa and School District involved in the event, School district took poll of students to find out what they'd like to have in the community and they voted for a skatepark.

Vilas County

Artarama
Saturday, July 19
9am - 3pm
Riverside park, Eagle River
Juried art extravaganza is located in Riverside park, located behind the Vilas County Fairgrounds, draws top-quality artists and a large art savvy buying public. This festival features live music and picnic style food.

St. Germain Primetimers Car and Craft Show
Saturday, July 19
9am - 3pm
Held at the St. Germain Community Park
Enjoy a great car show with brat fry and beverages (at the pavilion).
Kids carnival 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Lac du Flambeau Tribe Hosts
Thursday, July 17th
Strawberry Island Homecoming Celebration
Sand Beach historical marker, located on Highway 47 at Flambeau Lake, across from the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council building. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 3:00 pm.
A feast will be offered at Noon, with live entertainment to follow. Weather permitting, canoe and pontoon trips around Strawberry Island will begin at 1:00 pm.
