Tomahawk Fall Ride Brings in Millions

The Tomahawk Fall Ride is an event that not only bikers look forward to, but businesses do also. That’s because when the rumblings of bikes are in the air, business ends up booming.

Not only do nearly 50,000 people come to Tomahawk during this time, but almost $20 million dollars come with them. From Pubs and bars, to sunglasses and chaps; store owners and locals alike get ready to keep the merchandise in stock.

Liz Milender, Executive Director of Tomahawk Main Street, “I’ve been in every single business and last year was a record year with record numbers. We’ll see at the end of this if it’s the same. I think its because we live here and we welcome people here that they keep on coming back.”

Tomahawk’s unique atmosphere brings people from all over, and if you’re not there to take in all the bikes, at least try out some of the local cuisine. Tomahawk Main Street will reach out to their businesses and those who visited the ride to see how they can improve for next year.
