Two Tomah men are facing charges in a non-fatal heroin overdose case.
According to WKBT-TV, police said while they were executing a search warrant at a home on Cedar Lane, Donald Frantzen, 33, returned home and attempted to throw away a baggie containing 10 grams of heroin.
Frantzen is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Monroe County Court on Jan. 14. He's facing seven drug related charges, including 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, and two counts of bail jumping.
Shelton Hughes, 22, was also arrested in connection to the drug investigation. He's free on a $1,000 cash bond.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on January 14. Tomah police say more arrests and charges are likely in this investigation.
Frantzen bought the heroin in the Chicago area to sell in Tomah, according to police.
