There are almost 400 new pieces of art on display at the Marathon County Public Library. But don't worry, they're not taking up too much space. That's because they are only the about the size of a coaster.
It's part of the "Tiny Treasures" exhibit on display now on the library's second floor.
Library specialist Kathleen Kosiac this is an opportunity for the library to remind the public that they are so much more that just books and computers. "We hope the community enjoys these art exhibits and we're very excited we were able to host some of them" says Kosiac.
The library will also be hosting two "Creating Tiny Treasures" events. The public is invited to meet the artists and learn about how they created these tiny masterpieces. There will also be an opportunity to create your own tiny treasure. These events will be help on August 14th at 6:00 PM and August 23rd at 2:00 PM. Registration is free.
