Three people were arrested on drug charges Monday after a search warrant was served at a home in Merrill.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, it happened on the 400 block of East Sixth Street as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug use and distribution.
A warrant was served after law enforcement received a tip. Inside the home they found methamphetamine, prescription drug tablets, syringes, synthetic marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
George R. Hill, 42, of Merrill was arrested on a probation violation charge will likely face felony drug charges..
Melissa Sue Lemke, 26, of Merrill is behind bars on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia along with three counts of bail jumping.
Leanna M. Wells, 30 and the homeowner, was arrested on felony drug charges for possession of a schedule II narcotic drug, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
A six year old child was at home during the arrests and is now in custody of Lincoln County Social Services.
All three appeared in Lincoln County Court on Tuesday and ramined in custody on $5,000 bond.
