The Doctor is in: Screen Time Proves Negative Effects on Kids

The iPad is now too often a way to keep kids either busy or occupied either at home or in public.

On Thursday morning, Dr. Jordan Ashton of Marshfield Clinic stopped by to talk about screen time.

Dr. Ashton said children younger than two years old should not have a television in their room, or be allowed to play with iPads, since it may stunt their learning abilities.

NewsChannel 7 is pairing up with Marshfield Clinic each Thursday to talk about topics that can help you keep your family healthy.

"The Doctor is in" will air every Thursday on Sunrise 7.

If you have a question you'd like to ask the doctor, email your questions in to doctor@wsaw.com.
