The Doctor Is In: Is Gluten-Free Good for Kids?

Each week NewsChannel 7's Sunrise 7 team is pairing up with Marshfield Clinic each Thursday to talk about topics that can help you keep your family healthy.

This week, the topic discussed was the gluten-free diet.

Gluten-free eating means avoiding foods made with wheat, barley or rye, and that's just about everything with carbohydrates: bagels, muffins, cereals.

Dr. Jordan Ashton, of Marshfield Clinic, stopped by Sunrise 7 Thursday to talk about whether it is healthy or not to feed your kids a gluten-free diet.

If you have a question you'd like to ask the doctor, email them to us at doctor@wsaw.com.
