A 17-year-old has died after being hit by a train early Tuesday morning in Walworth County.
According to a news release, Walworth County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a young man being struck by a train. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened around 5 a.m. on the Canada National Rail Line between I-43 and Hwy L in the Village of Mukwonago.
The victim's name is not being released until his family can be notified.
