FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- A Fond du Lac County teenager is now formally charged in a February crash that killed three teenage girls from the Campbellsport area.

WLUK-TV reports 18-year-old Carly Ottery was charged Wednesday with three counts of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.

Ottery was driving a sport utility vehicle with eight other teens inside when it rolled over in the town of Ashford early on Feb. 4. Authorities say she was speeding and lost control. Some of the teens were not wearing seat belts.

Fifteen-year-old Sabrina Stahl, 16-year-old Katie Berg and 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell were killed in the crash.

Ottery is due to make an initial court appearance June 19. Online court records did not indicate a defense attorney.
