Two men are safe after a water rescue Monday afternoon on the Wisconsin River in Wausau. Investigators says the men are in their 20s.
Around 2:25 p.m. rescue crews were paged to the Thomas Street Bridge after a passerby noticed three people struggling in the water.
It was later learned that just two people were in the water, however a rescue boat was used to search the area for a third person as a precautionary measure.
