BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- A Taylor woman is charged with homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle in a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Jackson County.
Prosecutors say 26-year-old Randi Rupnow was heading north on Highways 12/27 on October 10, 2012 and turned into the path of an oncoming motorcyclist. Twenty-eight-year-old Jess Rauk, of Neillsville, was killed.
The La Crosse Tribune says crash investigators found Rupnow, for some undetermined reason, failed to see Rauk. Rupnow is due in court Monday.
