If you're a native of the Badger State you have the privilege of experiencing four seasons, however most people this time are year are done with winter and ready for spring.
But that's not the case for everyone. In Marathon County there are dozens of winter activities, and the recent snowfall is extending your time to give them a whirl.
William Bursaw, a ranger at Rib Mountain State Park spends his fair share outside. And says there's one advantage winter has over the summer months, “I think winter is some of the best times to get out because you don’t have the mosquitoes and bugs or anything like that. You can dress for it. When you get out you get moving and within 10 minutes your warm."
He says winter is the park's busiest season.
He says people travel from all over the state to catch a glimpse from atop the hill.
If you'd like to take a peek from the peak, a day pass is $7 or an annual fee is $25 for Wisconsin residents.
