GLENDALE, Wis. (AP) -- Police have arrested a student in a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of a suburban Milwaukee high school.
WTMJ-TV reports a Nicolet High School student was taken into custody.
About 1,100 students were evacuated from the school in Glendale Wednesday after a student found a handwritten bomb threat inside the boy's bathroom.
School officials say the school went into lockdown after the note was found, then was evacuated after packages were found in a first-floor bathroom and on the second floor.
The bomb squad searched the building but found nothing. The packages were harmless.
School was canceled for the day. Classes will resume Thursday.
