Supper Club Stories: Vintage House in Marshfield

The Vintage House in Marshfield has a very long and storied history. It began as a place to get moonshine during prohibition, transitioned into a dance hall, and now has become one of the best known restaurants in Wood County.

The building has served multiple purposes and had multiple owners, but today Chef Ron Weis is proud to have run the restaurant for the past 11 years.

Chef Ron's passion for preserving the historic building is matched only by his passion for cuisine. Ron went to culinary school in California, where he lived for 28 years.

"Everything is homemade and everything is made with passion as a chef. Everything goes out that door looking like it is a million dollars. We have customers that take pictures of their food because that looks too good to eat." Says Chef Ron.

Whether you come for the food, or for the atmosphere, The Vintage House is a restaurant that certainly has a story to tell.
