If you watch the Super Bowl this weekend, you'll see a commercial produced by the Wisconsin State Patrol and the DNR. That's because they want to let partiers know, it's not o.k. to drink and drive on the roads...or snowmobile trails.
The ads were unvieled today and bring focus to the dangers of driving while intoxicated.
It cost the state about $40,000 to produce the spots.
"We definitely think it's worth it. It seems pricey to some people, but it also reaches out to everyone. If you look at the number of people that we're going to be reaching with these messages, hopefully it will make them think or plan ahead", said Major Sandra Huxtable of the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The ads will air statewide on super Sunday.
According to the State Patrol, someone is hurt or killed in an alcohol related crash in Wisconsin about every 2 hours.
