About 20 student from Mountain Bay Elementary spread Christmas cheer Monday to residents at Stoney River Assisted Lived in Weston.
The students are members of the school's Alpha Club. They meet once a month and are supported by the Optimist International Club; which is dedicated to bring out the best in kids.
The club brought homemade decorations to put up on the residents' doors for the holidays to help them get in the holiday spirit.
"Some people, may be far away from their relatives, so they can't visit. It's nice to spread the holiday cheer to people who may be can't decorate,” Explained Alpha Club member, Sylvia Young.
"I think it's important because not everybody gets to go see their families, with the weather, and just because, they just can't. We just like helping them get into the spirit,” Said Abby Kislow.
The students also sang Jingle Bells and spoke with the residents about their favorite Christmas traditions.
