Thursday, Jack Zimmermann will celebrate his 10th birthday. But Jack isn't asking for video games or toys. He's asking for donations to help preserve the memory of a little boy who lost his battle with cancer.
Jack is from Stratford and is asking family and friends to make a donation to Treyden's Cabin.
Treyden's Cabin is a project the parents of Treyden Kurtzweil are working to make a reality. In June, just days after his 1st birthday, Treyden lost his battle with cancer. Treyden was given the diagnosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia , or ALL at just two-months-old.
The Kurtzweils said they are working to redesign the pediatric oncology waiting room at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield.
They have set a goal of raising $50,000.
