For the 6th year in a row, the Central Wisconsin Storm are Madison-bound for the girls state hockey semifinals.
What's new is head coach Jana Wimmer being in charge. She was an assistant under Denny Drake the last three seasons. This is her first season as head coach.
Wimmer has built strong relationships with her team, driving the Storm towards another state title run.
The 3rd-ranked Storm will meet #1 Onalaska in the first semifinal at noon on Friday at the Alliant Energy Center.
