Two Stevens Point woman are facing numerous felony charges after they are accused of using a family member's checking account.
According to court documents, Kristin Pitcher, 47, is accused of taking $26,000 from her father's checking accounts. Pitcher did have power of attorney, however investigators said Pitcher took the money without her father's knowledge.
Kristin Pitcher's daughter, Shanna, is also charged with stealing money from her grandfather. However, court documents say she took checks and a debit card without her mother's knowledge and used the money, estimated to be around $1,600, to pay for college fees and a belly button ring.
Shanna Pitcher is expected to be charged with 11 counts of forgery and one count of misdemeanor fraud. Shanna Pitcher told investigators she signed her mother's name on the check and signed her grandfather's name as the endorser.
Kristin Pitcher is expected to be charged with two counts of theft and using someone's ID to obtain money.
Both women are due in court on October 14.
