A Stevens Point man is expected to be charged with his 8th OWI following a traffic stop Thursday night.
According to a news release from the State Patrol, an officer observed a vehicle driven by Kory Konopacki, 34, run a red light.
Konopacki was stopped by the officer an book on a tentative charge of operating under the influence. Konopacki is also being charged with 1st offense operating after revocation alcohol
related and possession of open intoxicants.
Konopacki's previous conviction was in 2009.
