A 29-year-old Stevens Point man arrested during a sting operation in a parking lot near Stevens Point Area High School last February, is scheduled to reach a plea deal with prosecutors.

John Koback is charged with child enticement after police say a conversation between he and juvenile girl turned into plans to meet for a sexual encounter.

The girl contacted the Stevens Point Police Department and an officer posed as the girl and continued conversing with the suspect on Facebook.

The plea deal is expected to include a another felony case, in which Koback is charged with a drunk driving crash from 2012.

The Stevens Point Police Department would like to remind parents of possible online dangers and encourages them to monitor their children's internet activity.
