An 8-year-old from Stevens Point will make a large contribution to the Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners warehouse Friday afternoon.

Kaylee Jisko had set a goal of raising 100 backpacks for under privileged students in Nicaragua. However, Kaylee has surpassed her goal by 25 backpacks in just three months.

Her mother tells NewsChannel 7 via email, Kaylee has gotten some help from friends, family, and strangers. She has a Facebook group called "Kaylee's Backpack Project" where people can go and donate and track her progress, comment and see pictures.
