Holy Packers! Football season is finally here, and Ron and Linda Johnson say they're what true Packers fans look like. The two have been fans since the early 90s, and already have a little over a hundred different collectibles. Ron says his favorite item is a signed picture from Brett Favre himself.
"It's number two of only 44 he signed," said Ron, "It's a shadow box picture and it's very large and very heavy. And that's probably my most prized possession from the Brett Farve collection."
From signed helmets, to signed footballs, and even a Packers bathroom, the Johnson's have poured thousands of dollars into their basement; aka the Packer Cave.
Ron spent two years decking out his golf cart with nothing but Packers gear. He said he rides it around Stevens Point every day just to show people he's a true Packers fan. But one item on Ron's bucket list that he hopes to scratch off one day: A Brett Favre signature in person.
"Meeting him and getting an autograph from him are two different things," said Ron, "I have said hello to him at training camps but I have never actually gotten an autograph because he always said he couldn't do it."
Surprisingly, Ron says he's only been to four Packers games, but plans to go to one this year. Ron also has his H3 Hummer painted in dark green with Packer logos on the front and back, which he and Linda call the Packer-mobile.
