Stevens Point Asks Drivers to Stay Off Main Street Friday Afternoon
The City of Stevens Point is asking drivers to avoid parking along Main Street after 2 pm on Friday so organizers can set-up for the annual Holiday Parade.
The city will closed Main Street at 3 pm. Line-up for the floats will begin at 4:30 pm.
The night begins the official downtown Christmas lighting at 6:00 pm. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:15 pm. with a special appearance at the end of the parade by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
It's the 24th year of the annual Holiday Parade.
