Steven Avery's Brother Facing Felony Charges in Manitowoc County

The brother of a man convicted of killing a photographer in 2005 is facing two charges of capturing an image of nudity.

Earl Avery, 41, the brother of Steven Avery, is accused of videotaping people in various stages of nudity at his Manitowoc home. According to the Appleton newspaper, Earl Avery admitted to hiding a camcorder in the bathroom and bedroom of his home.

On August 17, a search warrant was issued at his home. The tapes showed undressing females, 17 and 45; two girls, both 3; one girl, 9, and two boys between the ages of 5 and 6.

Earl Avery will return to court January 30.

Steven Avery was convicted of helping murder Teresa Halbach in 2007.
