Rep. Mandy Wright (D-Wausau) has announced her run for re-election to the State Assembly.
“It is a great honor to serve the people of the 85th Assembly District, and I am looking forward to continuing my work in the legislature,” Wright said.
Rep. Wright was first elected to the Assembly in 2012 after Donna Seidel announced she would not run for reelction. Wright defeated Republican challenger Pat Snyder-- longtime Wausau radio host.
Wright serves on the Assembly Committees on Small Business Development, Consumer Protection, Education, Urban Education, Agriculture, and the Speaker’s Task Force on Rural Schools.
