A cracked windshield has lead to drug charges for a 24-year-old Pittsville man.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said in a news release, Jesse Krueger was pulled over for the violation on State Highway 80 just outside of Pittsville Thursday afternoon.

Krueger was arrested after the Trooper smelled marijuana in the vehicle and asked the man to get out. The Trooper says Krueger had a marijuana bud stuck to his pants, and marijuana flakes on his sweatshirt.

The release went on to say Krueger had green residue on his mouth and tongue. It is believed Krueger eaten marijuana. When questioned if he had done so, he did not respond.

Kruger is expected to be charged May 22 with possession of marijuana. He was also issued a warning for a cracked windshield and loud exhaust.
