State Appearance Overdue For D.C. Everest

Head coach Lucas Kollross said it best. It's been a long time coming for the D.C. Everest girls soccer team and after a number of sectional appearances, Everest is finally headed to state after a 2 nothing win over Appleton North Saturday.

From the start the Evergreens have dominated games with a team full of girls who know how to score. Saturday's win was the 15th straight for Everest and Friday they'll make their very first run for a Division 1 state title in Milwaukee up against Kettle Moraine.
