Police in Monroe County say they’ve solved the case of dozens of lawn ornament thefts.
According to WEAU-TV, Amy McCurdy, 31, was questioned by police around 3:30 a.m. Saturday after someone saw her taking a lawn ornaments and running off. When officers arrived she had several lawn ornaments near her car and many more inside the vehicle.
Police are trying to return the decorations to their rightful owners.
According to the La Crosse Tribune, she cited for driving while intoxicated and referred to the Monroe County District Attorney’s office on suggested charges of misdemeanor theft and trespassing.
