A spark from a flame cutter is believed to have caused a fire that damaged machinery at a Wittenberg salvage yard Tuesday afternoon.

Four area fire departments responded to Weller's Salvage yard located at 8978 Bobsiding Road around 12:36 p.m. Tuesday

A deputy with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department tells NewsChannel 7 employees were using a tool to cut a car. The employees then took a lunch break and returned to find some of the equipment on fire.

No one was injured and no building were destroyed.

The business did have a more serious fire in January 2013.
