The cool temperatures didn't stop people from coming out to an all day softball tournament in Weston that benefited a great cause.
It was the third year that area residents turned out to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.
The event was inspired after Stephanie Bodenheimer tragically lost her daughter Ava two years ago to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Stephanie says that it is comforting to see that so many people came out to have a good time and raise money for a worthwhile charity.
"That is the goal, to take something awful and turn it into something positive. Just raise money for a great cause." Bodenheimer says.
The tournament also featured an auction and barbecue which also helped to raise additional funds.
