A Lt. with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department says a man with head injuries was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.
Law enforcement says the man was traveling with a group of snowmobilers when he struck a tree on a trail in the Town of Frankfort Sunday morning.
The crash happened at 3:00 am on a trail between County Highway N and Huckleberry Road.
Law enforcement says the man was cited for an OWI as he was under the influence of alcohol during the accident.
