Snow Melt Creates Basement Flooding Issues

More Video...

Many across Northcentral Wisconsin are running into problems with water leaking into homes following this week's snow melt.

A-1 Masonry of Weston has been kept very busy throughout the past few days, taking more than 30 calls from people looking to get their basements sealed and waterproofed.

They say the past few days has really put a strain on normally leak-free basements.

"With the record snowfall and all the water that we had in the fall, we had a lot of rainfall. It all froze to the ground and we are expecting record calls this year. " says A-1 Owner Dave Farrar

A-1 says that had the warm temps kept up through the rest of the week, it would have created even more problems for homeowners if all of the snow had melted at once.
