Shopko Announces Grand Opening in Stanley
A new retail store is expected to open in Clark County this month, bringing with it 25 new jobs.
Shopko Hometown will celebrate its grand opening Thursday, October 18.
In an interview with an Eau Claire newspaper this spring, Charlie Walker, the Chippewa County Economic Development director said he hopes more businesses will move in next to Shopko, making Stanley more of a retail destination.
Shopko will be located at 409 Junction Avenue.
Stanley is 30 miles west of Abbotsford.
