The Vilas County Sheriff's Department is investigating an possible drowning in Lac Du Flambeau.
According to a news release, deputies received a 911 just after noon on Tuesday reporting possible drowning on Gunlock Lake.
The Vilas County Sheriff say an exact cause of death has not been determined.
The victim has been identified as Thomas Soper, age 41.
