Sex Offender to be Released in Stevens Point

A convicted sex offender is scheduled to be released September 30 in Stevens Point.

According to a news release from the Stevens Point Department, Roy Gro rich, 54, has completed his sentence for 2002 conviction 1st degree sexual of a child.

Police say Grorich's victims were girls between the ages of 8-13 that he knew. Court records show the crimes happened in 1999.

Grorich will be monitored by GPS and must register as a sex offender.
