The Langlade County Sheriff's Department is still investigating a major drug bust earlier this week.
According to a news release, several people were arrested on May 20th after a month-long narcotics investigation. Drugs seized in the investigation included 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, 275 schedule II narcotics in the form of prescription pills, and about 12.1 ounces of marijuana.
Deputies says they executed a search warrant at a residence in Antigo as a result of the investigation. Marijuana, prescription narcotics, cash, an AR-15 rifle and a vehicle were seized.
Charges are being referred to the district attorney's office for 12 people. They include possession and delivery of marijuana, possession and delivery of methamphetamine, possession and delivery of a scheduled II narcotic, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, bail jumping, probation violations, delivery of a controlled substance near a school, delivery of a controlled substance near a park, repeat drug offenses, operating a drug house and obstructing an officer.
Deputies say more people could be arrested.
