A new app is helping military families deal with the difficult subjects of deployment, grief, and injuries with familiar faces like Big Bird and Elmo.
The app is free, and allow users to access engaging videos, articles, storybooks, parent guides, and more to help support preschool and school-aged children as they encounter transitions common to military families.
Currently, the Sesame Street for Military Families app is only available through the Apple store, but will be released for the Android Market later this month.
