Traffic is once again flowing on Hwy. 29 after a semi caught fire Monday night. Lt. Andrew Thorpe with the Shawano Co. Sheriff's Dept. tells NewsChannel 7 it happened between Bonduel and Shawano just before 8 p.m.
Part of Hwy. 29 was closed. Eastbound lanes were diverted so crews could get to the fire. Lt. Thorpe says no one was hurt and no other vehicles were involved.
You may want to avoid Highway 29 near Bonduel in Shawano County. The dispatch center tells NewsChannel 7 crews are on the scene of a semi fire near Valley Road.
The dispatcher says the fire is pretty much out; however, crews are keeping eastbound cars away by diverting traffic to exit 22, to County Hwy. B, to County Hwy. BE, to Cecil St., then onto Hwy. 29.
