Attempted homicide charges have now been filed against a 35-year-old Clark County stabbing suspect. According to a press release, deputies responded to a home at N9396 CTH K in Loyal around 11:30 p.m. July 28 for a man that had been stabbed.
Officers made contact with the victim, David Contreras, age unknown, in a vehicle south of the residence. David had a stab wound in his upper stomach area and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he is currently in stable condition.
It is believed David and the suspect, Victor Ytehua-Tzompaxtle Hispanic, 35, were both drinking and arguing before the stabbing. Victor was last seen leaving the area walking north on CTH K.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating Ytehua-Tzompaxtle. He’s described as 5’10” tall, 185 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.
