The Adams County Crime Stoppers and the Adams County Sheriff's Office are searching for suspect in an attempted armed robbery.
Last Tuesday night, deputies responded to a report of an attempted robbery at a home on 10th Ave. northeast of Friendship.
Investigation revealed a male subject, armed with a knife, entered the home after forcing entry through the front door. The male subject held the occupants at knife point and demanded money. However, when the victims told him they did not have any money, he exited the scene and left on foot.
The occupants of the home were not injured or harmed by the subject.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’11 and over 200 pounds with brown eyes between the ages of late 20’s to mid 30’s. Subject was wearing a plaid flannel jacket with dark/ neutral colors, a stocking hat and a bandanna covering his face.
The area was searched, but the subject was not located.
