Sconni's Opens its Doors in Schofield

Sconni's Alehouse and Eatery aims to bring that old fashioned Wisconsin vibe to Schofield.

Co-Owner Mike Masgay, who was one of the original owners of Mickey's Sports Bar and Grill before it came Sconni's, said that he believes their menu, local beers and unique decor will make that goal a reality.

While Mickey's previously had a pool hall type of look to it, Masgay looks to make Sconni's much more than just that.

"We all have a love for the back country Wisconsin landscape so we thought we'd do something that was more of an homage to the state. Our menu is locally sourced, we have thirty-two Wisconsin craft beers on draft and the decor I think reflects not only the Northwoods but a lot of the different things Wisconsin has to offer."

From pan fish, to roasted apple pork chop, Sconni's is hoping to make a big splash in Schofield.
