The Marathon County Sheriff's Office Patrol Lieutenant Bill Millhausen said a SWAT team was called to a Mosinee residence around 6 p.m. Saturday.
Millhausen said they called the team "in need for additional man power due to the nature of the call."
Millhausen would not release any specific information on why they needed more man power, but said they were called to investigate a male in the residence in connection with the call.
The Sheriff's Office also would not release where in Mosinee the crew was called to.
He said the call was not drug related, but lead them to believe that weapons were involved in a particular incident.
Milhausen said the public was not in danger.
