A group of 85 cyclist will make the 97 mile trip to Green Bay on Wednesday.
It's all a part of the STIHL Tour des Trees.
The group raises money for the Tree Fund which funds tree research and education.
They pedaled into town Tuesday after a 90 mile journey from the Wisconsin Dells.
While in our area, the group stopped at UWSP to plant a tree honoring retired professor, Dr. Robert Miller.
Miller helped to found UWSP's Urban Forestry Program.
"I think Bob Miller was able to mentor people and be able to contribute to their passion. They went on to devote their careers, their education, and their lives to urban forestry and arboriculture," said Randall H. Miller.
Randall H. Miller attended SPASH and studied at UWSP under Dr. Robert Miller.
So far $500,000 has been raised, but the groups says their goal is placed at $600,000.
