Laura J Studio and Boutique is using their talents to build a positive image for women to dress and carry themselves. Rocking in the U.S.A. will combine fashion, rock music and charity in an event to benefit troops overseas.
Laura Sedivy, owner of Laura J Studio and Boutique, said she started out just as a senior portrait studio, but really wanted to branch out to more women and girls of all ages. She added on the boutique and hope to encourage women to dress fashionably yet modestly.
The fashion show features girls from high school age to more mature women showcasing all different kinds of fashions from Laura J's. An all-boy rock band "Stronger Than The Story" will be lending their musical talents to the Rocking For The U.S.A. event.
The event will take place on Friday, August 8th at The Plaza Hotel in Wausau, in the Crystal Ballroom. Tickets are $7 pre-sale and $10 at the door. Some of the sales will be used to send care packages to troops overseas.
